TJ Chernick

TJ Chernick holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. 

 

TJ performs as an actor, entertainer and cellist, not necessarily in that order. His professional performing career began in Chicago as a singer and cellist, and expanded into acting and comedy after a few too many run-ins with amazing Chicago-based performers. 

 

He has professional experience coordinating international gender projects in Iraq with the International Human Rights Law Institute. His areas of interest include gender issues in international human rights. An avid writer and traveler he has lived and performed research in Morocco and Iceland. He has been a journalist in both print and broadcast.
